MISSION STATEMENT
Short Connection mission is to provide a service of excellence and added value to its customers.
We understand that it is our responsibility to contribute to a more sustainable society at an economic, social and environmental level, involving our employees and all the other partners in this same objective.
In this sense, we are committed to values such as the respect for business ethics, the protection of human rights and fair working conditions, the promotion of diversity and inclusion, and the protection of the environment, as a way to achieve sustainable development and help our customers to work responsibly.

We took the decision to engage in the sustainability certification process to learn, improve, implement and promote good sustainability practices on social, environmental, and economic aspects of our business.
We will work and set actions to maximize positive impacts and minimize negative impacts of our operations.

POLICY
This policy will apply to all operations, from management to the executive level of our company.
Staff, suppliers, and partners are expected to fully uphold objectives under this policy, whenever possible, within prevailing budgets.
We acknowledge we have limited influence over third parties.
While we cannot control the decisions of these parties, we commit to educating them of our policy and encourage them to align operating practices with policy objectives.

MEASURE, MONITOR AND FIND SOLUTIONS TO REDUCE ENERGY CONSUMPTION
- Heating and cooling systems are turned off when offices are closed
- We use only green energy and efficient lighting for office purposes.
- Set all our equipment on energy-saving mode.
- Prefer low energy equipment when buying new items, including considerations of cost and quality.
- Reduce transport-related impacts by video meetings, work-at-home policies, or other means.
- Measure and reduce staff-related commuting, through carpooling.
- Maintain and properly check motorized company vehicles, to reduce emissions and energy use and make sure they comply with the legal emission standards.

- Our offices are in a new building and modern technology.
- Our water systems are modern and set to minimize freshwater waste.
- We have a dual-flush toilet.
- We monitor water bills and search methods for improvements.
- Use sustainable water sourcing, which does not adversely affect environmental flows.
Provide periodic guidance, training, and information to all staff members, about their roles and responsibilities concerning internal environmental practices.
SINCE WE WORK IN LOGISTICS AND CHAIN MANAGEMENT

- Consider and give preference to more sustainable alternatives when selecting transport options for deliveries, taking into account price, comfort, and practical considerations.
SINCE WE WORK IN WAREHOUSES
WE COMMIT TO:
- We use natural lighting sources like the sun to reduce the artificial light, and we have light motion sensors.
- Packaging is one of the most important factors that we do care about. Our boxes have the right size for goods, and products. We use biodegradable packaging materials and reduce the plastic wrapping to minimize impact.
- We have a partner in waste operator whose activity is the collection, transport and treatment of non-hazardous waste that is stored and forwarded to the respective recycling companies for the production of new goods.
- The entire operation is regularly controlled by external quality managers in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standards.

- Comply with relevant standards and voluntary codes of conduct in marketing and advertising messages, and not promise more than is delivered.
- Inform the customer about sustainable alternatives concerning warehousing, logistics, and transport options.
